The credit for this lies with Terrapin Station>Drums>Space, which is an excellent sequence and features some exquisitely delicate playing from everyone. of Circumstance, Days Between and Not Fade Away. The second set of today’s show comes perilously close to wrecking on those same shores, starting off with Iko Iko and then Wave to the Wind, but, somehow, the rest of the set doesn’t collapse, even though there’s not much the boys are going to do with St. Years and years ago I reviewed the Dead’s May 22nd performance here at Shoreline and thought that the setlist for the second set basically ruined the night.
